I'm here trying to help out the wiki. The reason I'm creating projects is to try to get a full todo list together so it's easier to tell what's done and what isn't on this wiki. (Note: a lot of stuff isn't). You may notice I've slowed down a bit the past few days. That's because I'm doing a lot of stuff that I don't feel is contributing that much to the wiki (mainly because there's so much to do in the first place and I'm the only one here right now doing anything).
Please someone else come and help sometime. Please.Read more >
Welcome to Project: Projects, where our goal is to create more projects for the wiki.
Overall Goals: Create projects for the wiki. Create as many subprojects for them as possible too.
Goals for July: Actually create the projects on the Projects page, create 5 subprojects for each of those, and try to get to a total of 50 projects.
Contacts: Tadukoo - Project Creator
Okay, in all seriousness, my goal for tonight and tomorrow (mainly tomorrow) is to create the Manual of Style page(s) for projects and to actually create the projects on the projects page (including a list of pages and TODO for each of them). I guess also creating monthly goals for each, but with them being mainly for August and not July since the month's almost over anyway.

I've started a blog for Project Wizards Chats. The url is wotcchats.blogspot.com. On the blog, I'll be posting the various Wizards of the Coast chats with footnotes, links to here, and clarifications on stuff. Through creating the links to here, I'll ultimately be creating those pages for the wiki as well (mainly referring to card links).
Over time, the information for the blog posts will end up on here as well. The entire blog is to be under a creative commons license that allows it to be reused elsewhere.
The blog is meant to provide a critical version of the chats that corrects and clarifies grammar and spelling as well as provide footnotes regarding later information (e.g. if a rule is changed by later rulings, how releases ended up bein…Read more >
First, I want to say I created a few of the projects I listed in my previous blog post (See Pokemon TCG Wiki:Projects for the projects list). They're not all created yet, but we'll get there.
I keep working on Project Wiki stuff, but I want to get to actual content projects and not just the wiki (though both are important).
The problem with working on stuff in general is I need to define what guidelines should exist. Some of the existing pages are better than others already (e.g. compare Base Set to Call of Legends), but I still feel like the better pages could be even better. So this blog will be for working out guidelines for set and card pages.
- Include basic info (infobox and a short description)
- Include special types of cards in set (…
So today now that I've finished the goals with Template:Setlist and stuff (See my previous blog), I want to work on creating Projects for the wiki. Projects would be a way to keep track of what has been done and what needs done. It would be good to have both projects for articles as well as projects (or just one) for wiki documentation (e.g. Manual of Style, when citations are needed, other help pages, etc.). The project pages would be under the "Pokemon TCG Wiki:" namespace, not here in my blogs or anything. The purpose of this blog is simply for me to think through the project ideas.
My current plan is:
- POP Series, McDonald's series, Nintendo Promos, and World Championship decks, while contained within certain eras, are a separate pro…
Right now, my main goal is working on the setlists of different site pages. I created Template:Setlist in order to make setlists on the pages that are more easily readable than the previous formatting (but still ultimately using those templates). Currently my template isn't as flexible as using the other templates (e.g. you can currently only do a single English set table or an English set table and a Japanese set table, you can only use the default color, etc.). See Template:Setlist/test (and its /doc page) for a list of stuff I have as TODO's with it. I specifically created Template:Setlist/test so that while I was making changes to improve the template, I wasn't breaking its usage on the pages it's on.
Currently, I've edited the followin…Read more >
Yesterday I came here looking for a wiki specifically devoted to the Pokémon Trading Card game and all the cards associated with it. This was the most developed wiki I could find that did that (without being all Pokémon in general at least).
So I decided to help out. I added the card lists to Jungle and Neo Genesis, and I create Template:Setlist in order to more easily create set lists that are readable when editing the page. I also helped with removing double redirects and a few minor changes.
So I just want to say that I'm willing to help out on here, but in the end, I don't want to be the only one working on this.
